Over the space of a few years, sigrenEa has become the leading provider of decision and planning assistance in the area of drop-off waste collection. It currently relies on a robust technological solution that comprises a complete range of autonomous and communicating electronic systems and sensors (level measurement, access control, PDAs, etc.), a range of software for all types of needs, and a team that has built up solid business experience and speaks the same language as its clients.
To make full use of the power and potential of data, sigrenEa launched a major R&D program in 2014 with the aim of becoming the benchmark player for Big Data in the area of waste management. The new software platform is the first complete phase of this development program which should enable significant improvements in service quality and precision.
Since its beginnings in 2009, sigrenEa has constructed and developed its service offering by listening to its clients. sigrenEa’s close daily working relationship with its clients, involving contact at all levels, enables it to develop its offering to closely match user needs. For instance, the entirely modular software range provided by sigrenEa can be used both to help managers with strategic decisions related to waste management, and collection operators with their day-to-day work, such as the planning of collection rounds.
Initially focused on services for local authorities responsible for waste collection, sigrenEa now also meets the needs of collection service providers wishing to improve their service quality, container manufacturers seeking to enhance their product ranges or industrial manufacturers looking to set up specific waste traceability systems.
sigrenEa has sites in France, Germany, Italy, Belgium and will soon cover almost all European countries. sigrenEa’s recognized expertise and leading references provide a solid domestic base for expansion into international markets.
sigrenEa’s system currently manages approximately 10,000 drop-off containers and covers a population of around 3 million residents. Strong increases in the size of the drop-off container fleet provide potential for rapid business growth.
